LG Air Conditioners

Today the company that manufacturers LG air conditioners is now the second largest manufacturer of TV sets in the world along with being the third largest manufacturer of mobile phones. The company’s headquarters are located in an area of Seoul, South Korea known as Yeouido.
When the company was originally established in 1958 it was called GoldStar and manufactured TVs, refrigerators, radios, washing machines and of course air conditioners. The name LG came into being when this company merged with another South Korean company called Lucky. However before the company decided to change its name to LG every single household product that it sold was branded under the “Lucky” name. Whereas all other electronic products this company produced were sold under the brand name “GoldStar”.

I was looking for an air conditioning unit that will also help to dehumidify various rooms in my home. After looking at what was available I decided to invest money in one of the portable LG air conditioners, as I had already purchased other products made by this company.
I have now owned my LG 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner and dehumidifier for over 2 years and am very happy with the money I spent on it initially. Compared to some other portable units, some may find this one a little big and heavy, but this makes is much more durable. However, in a very short space of time once up and running it makes any room it is placed in cool when the weather turns extremely warm.
Also another feature I love with regards to my purchase of this unit is how easy it is to maintain. In fact other than cleaning this one of the LG air conditioners air filter regularly, no other maintenance to keep it running at optimum levels is needed.

Since having had my LG air conditioning window unit installed over a year ago I absolutely love it. Okay cost of purchasing and having such LG air conditioners may seem high in comparison to some other window models. But this one really does help to cool down the room in which it is located and as a result the one that I have installed for the rest of my home doesn’t have to work as hard.
I had my installed in my bedroom and as it comes with a remote control, there is no need for me to actually get out of bed to turn it on whether I become too hot or cold. In fact of all this units features it is the remote control I love the best.
Having said this there are a couple of issues I have with mine. First off the plastic accordion which you place around the edge of the window after the unit has been installed is too short. Secondly, I had to arrange for someone else to carry out the installation as the instructions provided were difficult to understand.
