I didn’t know that Bosch made air conditioners until we moved out here, I thought they just made power tools & things like that. We needed to have the existing unit replaced and went for a Bosch, partly because it’s really small and discreet and partly because of its dust filtering capabilities.

When you have to spend so much time inside you want something that can cope with the heat and provide a nice comfortable atmosphere. I’ve been completely happy with it and it’s much quieter than I expected it to be too. It also has a vitamin C filter & I don’t know how effective that is, but it does keep everywhere cool and keeps the dust at bay.

I wish I could say the same thing. I purchased one in October and have been calling in the service men since. They temporarily gave me another one until the problem was solved, but yesterday when they brought my air conditioner back- at first it seemed to be heating the room, then suddenly it started blowing cold air. Looks like I’m going to continue spending the rest of the winter in the cold. They also refused to give me a new one although I’d only managed to use it for a couple of weeks maximum. They say they first attempt to repair it. I’m planning on seeking legal advice this week. Has anyone else experienced such problems?
